Delicacy

This piece was inspired by a Korean celadon jar from the Goryeo dynasty. The design portrays the delicacy of nature and gives an unsettling feeling. I want viewers to question their relationship with nature and the effects society as a whole has on it and on the environment in general.  I titled my piece Delicacy to represent our relationship with nature but also the medium of ceramics itself.
